Road Cafe

The inspiration comes from the philosophy of the owner of Road Cafe: “Road Cafe is more than just a café; it’s a cozy place for people to enjoy time alone, a space where couples can watch a movie, and a spot that hosts various events.” Visitors to Road Cafe create new paths on the map, symbolized by the different combinations in the logo design. This flexible approach ensures the logo can be adapted for various applications. ロゴには、オーナーの「Road Cafeは、人々がそれぞれの道をつくっていく場所である」という想いと、訪れる人が新たな道筋を描いていくという体験価値を、ロゴデザインを通して表現することが求められた。同時に、多様な用途や雰囲気に対応できる柔軟性と、実用性の両立が課題であった。また、クライアントは個人オーナーであるため、デザイナーに依存せず、自身で管理・運用できる、シンプルで扱いやすい仕組みを構築する必要があった。 そこで、組み替え可能なモジュール型のロゴシステムを設計し、各バリエーションが異なる道筋や出会いを象徴する構成とした。これにより、訪れるたびに異なる体験が生まれるRoad Cafeの世界観を反映しながら、さまざまなシーンや用途に対応できるロゴを実現している。
